obviously the two athletes on the left are fringe athletes.

they've sacrificed power, strength, explosiveness, etc for endurance. and not a broad endurance base, rather a very narrow endurance - cycling and running. they're the best in the world @ their sports, but are limiting themselves to other athletic ventures.


same with the powerlifter and the body builder. HOWEVER, i feel these two athletes have the greatest potential for overall athleticism. they're primarily strength athletes who can work to develop speed, flexibility, endurance, anaerobic capacity, etc.

but the crossfitting chick in the middle is just bad-ass.
