The SS cycle sounds great for strength-building, but after 1.5 years of dairy-free eating, I'm not sure my colon would be happy about a gallon of milk a day! Jerry, are you following a zone or paleo zone diet?

I started the C&J and Snatch skill transfer exercises from the 12/07 CFJ, in addition to the Burgener WU and some CJ/Sn WU exercises.

Snatches and jerks have felt a lot better since starting them. Herb's coaching has helped a lot this week, esp w/r/t the second pull in the snatch.

I'll post my WOD later.

zone with some paleo influences, cw. mainly not paleo because of dairy.

i have a tough time cutting out most dairy just because it naturally is so close to zone macro ratios.

i do try to limit grains, beans, potatoes, etc so it kind of feels paleo.

for a SS cylce though, all bets are off.

i emailed rippetoe with some questions regarding SS (duration, diet, etc) and I'll share those with you guys when he responds.

Backsquat - 225 lbs.
3 set of x1, x2, x3

Weighted Pull-ups between sets - got 45lbs. x1

Learned ANOTHER one of Herb's secrets on my Push-ups. He's a true genius.

Dl - 555. felt pretty easy. will get to and pass the 570 Pr soon. need to hit 600+ before we get a box.

As for the box...want you guys to know i am talking to the fine folks at the IPD and i ran into a state officer. once we get to 10+ members we are moving from the garage. we are close, thanks for all of your help...keep your finger crossed

Don't forget to tell people about the good stuff we are getting done!

WOD Barbara - 34:35 (jumping pull-ups last 2 rounds). Ugh - my pull-up and push-up endurance needs a lot of work.

Herb, will do on the exercises.
